Airtel rewards first batch of lucky customers

Joseph Musyoki and Joyce Nebere are among the lucky winners to get rewarded for participating in Chemsha Bongo na Airtel, a general knowledge quiz game service that gives Airtel customers the opportunity to test their general knowledge by answering multiple choice questions via SMS.

The first draw of the 90-day-promotion has seen 48 lucky customers walk away with goodies from the mobile service provider. The company rewards them in two phases; 41 daily customers and 7 weekly customers who walk away with Ksh20,000 and Ksh40,000 each respectively.

“This money will ease my financial burden as I prepare for the Christmas festivities,” said Joseph Musyoki.

“We want to reward our customers this festive season and enable them celebrate in style with their families and friends,” remarked Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi.

The draw will come to an end on 14th January 2015 and a total of Kshs 2,920,000 million has been set aside to reward the customers. The lucky winner will walk away with a grand prize of Ksh1,000,000 cash. All winners will be notified through the official number 0734111777.
