AFC Leopards mock Ulinzi with soldiers’ match and salute

NAKURU (MICHEZO AFRIKA) – For the many Ingwe fans who attended or watched on TV the AFC Leopards vs Ulinzi match on Sunday, the march and salute by “Ingwe brigade” after scoring the first goal against Ulinzi was a celebration they will relish for a long time.

Normally after scoring a goal, AFC players run to the corner flag then start dancing. The fans on the stands reciprocate by doing a Poznan dance while some opt for the traditional Isikuti dance.

On Sunday, however, AFC faced the “Real Government” Ulinzi Stars FC. The soldiers had the first opportunity to take the lead but after “hot gloves” Keeper Patrick Matasi saved the spot kick it was Ingwe’s chance to “show the soldiers dust”.

Coincidentally, AFC Leopards also won a penalty and Jonas Nahimana made no mistake in converting it. There was no better way to serve Ulinzi than a dose of a their well choreographed march and salute celebration. Whoever came up with the idea and rehearsal must have been a genius.

Sorry the soldiers who were also stunned by the celebration. This was definitely one of those “swag moves” that makes KPL matches a joy to watch.
