Mr Mark Mwenje, a Nairobi resident had arguably the best birthday weekend when his wife Laura Akunga-Muriithi surprised him with a car valued at Ksh10 million as birthday gift.
Ms Muriithi posted photos of a visibly elated Mwenje who she announced turned 30 over the weekend, receiving his present with family and friends gathered around, the Star reports.
The car itself, a Toyota Landcruiser V8, was wrapped in a red ribbon and decorated with balloons representing Mwenje’s age.
Ms Murithii posted a loving missive to her husband of one year wishing him a happy birthday and adding she was looking forward to 30 more years of marriage.
