Mediamax Network Ltd is set to add a new radio station to its stable are announcing plans to launch EM FM, a kalenjin broadcaster, are complete.
The impending launch was revealed by the media house on social media.
Mediamax, which is associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, has already hired staff for the radio station and they have been putting final touches before going on air, insiders told Business Today.

News of the planned lauch of EM FM first emerged in April. At the time, there were reports of launching a Kalenjin language TV station.
EM FM is set to eat into the market share of Kass FM, which is currently the most popular Kalenjin station. Others are Chamgei FM, Kitwek FM and Kongasis FM.
