The 9th edition of Big 5 Construct Kenya concluded at Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, with exhibitors highlighting promising business leads, industry connections and growing demand for quality construction products and innovative building solutions.

The three-day exhibition, featuring more than 150 exhibiting brands from over 25 countries, has provided a platform for manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and industry professionals to explore business opportunities and exchange technical knowledge.

For first-time exhibitor Jafree Traders, the response has been encouraging. “This is our first year exhibiting at Big 5 Construct Kenya, and we have received a fantastic response in terms of visitor footfall. We are already planning to participate in the 2027 edition and future events,” said Aliasgar Mikail, Director, Jafree Traders. He noted the opportunity to bridge the gap between quality tools and affordability in Kenya’s growing market.

Cyrus Mutunga, Sales Manager at Elite Tools, also reported significant visitor traffic and promising potential clients. “The exhibition has been fruitful for us, and we look forward to participating again next year,” he said.

At Henkel Kenya Limited, the exhibition offered an opportunity to engage with contractors and industry professionals while showcasing technical solutions. “At Henkel Kenya, we focus on delivering innovative bonding and sealing technologies that enhance durability, quality and efficiency in construction,” said Evance Odhiambo, Technical Lead.

Sustainability has also featured prominently through the Big 5 Impact Trail, which highlights environmentally conscious construction solutions.

Nisa Ansari, Export Sales Engineer at Royal Industries LLC, said the exhibition had generated strong visitor engagement and promising leads. “As part of the Big 5 Impact Trail, we are proud to support the growing conversation around sustainable construction and the adoption of environmentally conscious building materials in East Africa,” she said, adding that the company looks forward to returning in 2027.

As the exhibition concludes, the connections established and solutions showcased reinforce the importance of collaboration, innovation and access to quality products in supporting Kenya’s evolving construction industry.
