Leading travel commerce platform Travelport and Travel Creations, a renowned travel agency based in Kenya, last week announced partnership in rolling out GOL, a breakthrough online booking tool.
The tool powered by Travelport’s technology, makes Travel Creations the first travel agent in Africa to use the technology, which is a one stop shop for travellers, offering seamless access to services such as flight bookings and information, accommodation options and booking, insurance among other services.
Kenya’s online travel sales continue to grow rapidly, supported by rising internet penetration, and the expansion of online payment options.

The GOL tool allows clients to pre-select preferred airlines, best fares and best hotels in your destination.
According to Mrs Nita Nagi, Country Manager at Travelport East Africa, online travel sales to residents grew by 14% to reach Ksh92.8 billion in 2015. “This powerful new online booking solution for travel agencies, will help Travel Creations to connect their customers to more travel choices, thus empowering their travel experiences,” she said.
