A 66-year-old mother of seven from Siaya is the first lucky winner of Sh750,000 in the ongoing Imperial Leather ‘Oga na Milli’ promotion. Mrs Benedict Akinyi, who was picked in the first draw held on August 2, received her cheque at PZ Cussons head offices in Ruaraka, Nairobi.

Other winners included Peter Saitoti from Narok and Damaris Wacera from Mombasa who walked away with Sh75,000 each. Solomon Matheka of Nairobi was among the 275 customers who won one year supply of Imperial Leather soap, while 75 other customers got cash vouchers worth Sh7500.

Speaking after handing over the prizes, PZ Cussons Managing Director Dimitris Kostianis said the promotion is aimed at rewarding consumers and boosting consumption of the re-launched brand, which is marking 75 years in the market.

“We have refreshed the brand and would like our consumers to enjoy this new feel and get rewarded for using Imperial,” he said. The promotion started on 1st July, 2013 and runs to October 31st 2013 when the final winner will walk away with Sh1 million.
