Hot 96 seeks to recruit radio presenter and countinuity announcer

Hot 96Fm is seeking to fill the position of a radio presenter. If you believe you have what it takes to fill the above position, take time and read through and apply.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will among others be able to;

• Research, plan and develop on air content, ideas and concepts.

• On air presentation/continuity and acting on feedback from listeners.

• Write broadcasting reports (program schedule) and execute commercial logs

• Music research, identifying and propose music that should be incorporated into the station sound.

• Carry out outside broadcasting/Roadshows.

• Attend functions on behalf of the station.

• Receiving briefs from clients/ marketers/ supervisor and executing accordingly.

• Scripting, recording, packaging and producing station features

• Present, project and maintain the values of the station

• Creatively create and execute on air gaming elements

• Develop new segments in line with the business strategy.

THE PERSON

• Less than 35 years of age

• A bachelor’s degree preferably in the arts OR a Diploma in a relevant field in mass communication training.

• 3 years on- the- job experience. • Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili with a rich voice.

• Demonstrated ability to write and present creative scripts and promotional concepts

• Able to work long hours/odd hours without supervision.

• Have an ear for music and life stories
