Sirisia Constituency MP aspirant Moses Nandalwe alias Aliko Dangote due to his ‘riches’ has reportedly declared his support for sitting Nairobi County Governor Evans Kidero in the 2017 general election

Moses Nandalwe cited projects including street lighting, road maintenance, easing traffic flow in the CBD and city beautification projects that have aided the governor make Nairobi a better city. “I am confident that Kidero will change Nairobi from a dungeon of shame to a place of human dignity, something that he has been doing,” Nandalwe told the Star.

He is now banking on his influence as a Nairobi dweller and businessman, and alumni of two city universities, to ensure Kidero is re-elected.  However, ‘moneybags’ as he is also commonly known asked the Governor to consider tarmacking Digo Road, linking OTC and Gikomba market with Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU) headquarters in between.

“I know the Governor is capable and will tarmac the road. It would contribute positively to his 2017 scorecard as many traders and workers use it,” said Nandalwe.

Nandalwe has reportedly raised funds for needy school-going children, churches and funerals in Sirisia.  The 29-year-old has been spotted many times at public functions carrying wads of notes. He is known to dish out cash freely.

He has been going round the constituency in Bungoma for his philanthropic engagements and early campaigns with several fuel guzzler cars and sometimes a hired chopper.  There have been allegations that his campaigns are funded by Cotu’s Francis Atwoli, claims of which he denied.
