KISUMU – Leading cement manufacturer, Bamburi Cement, today recognised outstanding business performance of its leading dealers in Western Region at an Awards Gala dinner event held in Kisumu city. The event was aimed to reinforce Bamburi’s commitment to profitable partnerships and best business practices.
The dealers from Western region including Kisumu, Busia, Kakamega, Bungoma, and Malaba among other were celebrated, recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance that contributed to overall growth in the market. Speaking at the Awards Gala event, Mr. Steve Okeyo, the Sales Director said: “The support received from our valued channel partners is cherished by us at Bamburi and it’s only appropriate that we recognize your efforts.”
He said the winning dealers had displayed professionalism, dedication and commitment in achieving set goals and targets.
Jubilee Jumbo Hardware Limited of Kisumu emerged the top winner for the Dealers Award 2011, whereas 2nd and 3rd positions were scooped by Steel Centre Limited, Kisumu and Tridah Enterprise Ltd, Chavakali respectively.
While accepting the top award, Ratesh Patel of Jubilee Jumbo Hardware said: “It’s a great honour to be recognized by one of our most important principal and business partners. 2011 was a year of many milestones in our history with Bamburi Cement Limited, and we are thrilled to begin 2012 with this great recognition from them.
