Members of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya will benefit from discounted insurance rates offered by Britam. The two companies have signed a partnership that will see the over 3,000 members access motor private, motor commercial, professional indemnity and domestic insurance covers at discounted rates of up to 10 percent
The deal will also see members of the institution get other discounted rates on Britam’s products across the various business lines in insurance, asset Management and property.
The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) is a professional organization of the land sector with membership from Land Surveying; Valuation and Estate Management, Building Surveying. Land Administration Management; Engineering Surveying and Geospatial Information Management Surveyors.
Mr Wandera said that Britam is constantly innovating to come up with products that fit the needs of the customers in line with its new 2016/ 2020 strategy.
Speaking during the signing of the Service Level Agreement between the two institutions, Eunice Macharia, the ISK Deputy Chair noted that the arrangement was in line with the current ISK strategic plan that seeks to improve the welfare of members through partnerships with service providers. She encouraged the members of the institution to take full advantage of the products offered under the arrangements to improve on their operations and pass on the cost savings to their customers.
The Chair of the ISK Young Surveyor Committee, Erastus Chege observed that the partnership is very beneficial to upcoming young professional especially those who are starting their own practice as they are able to access the benefits which would ideally be available to large corporates.
