Top university Nescafe sellers win cash and internship

Nestle Kenya Managing Director Ciru Miringu (left) hands over a dummy cheque for $1,000 (Ksh95,000)  to Kenyatta University Performing Arts (KUPA) club members Vera Oketch and Bertha Aketch, which won the NESCAFE MYOWBU Ya Campo competition. Looking on is KU Dean of Students Edwin Gimode and Paul Nagelkerken, Nestle Professional Country Beverage Business Manager.

African Nazarene’s Peace Club also won a similar amount after beating four other clubs in the NESCAFÉ coffee selling business in their respective universities. KUPA sold over 4,500 cups while Africa Nazarene’s Peace Club sold 4,360 cups of NESCAFÉ coffee between July 2014 and January 2015. Lead students from the top winning club will get internship opportunities at Nestlé Kenya.
