Police hold Mariga’s car over customised number plate

MacDonald Mariga’s brother has been arrested for driving the soccer star’s Hummer that has a customized number plate. Thomas Wanyama, who used to play for Sofapaka, was arrested today and locked up at Central Police station while driving the red Hummer which bears the name Mariga 17 on the front number plate. Nairobi provincial police officer Anthony Kibuchi called a press conference to say driving a car with customised number plate is illegal.
