Days after announcing her exit from the Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation (KBC) after three years of service, news anchor Shiksha Arora has landed a new job.
Arora has joined TV47 as a part of the dream team for the Cape Media-owned station. In an advert, TV47 termed the anchor as the ‘new girl in town’.

While announcing her exit, the journalist commended her colleagues for the support they have given her throughout her stay adding that the experience in the station has been an incredible journey.
“My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family,” Arora said.
“Thank you to everyone who joined me on this incredible journey on #EasyFriday on KBC for the past 3 years.”
Arora joined KBC as a news anchor in 2021 and has been hosting a show dubbed ‘Easy Friday’ which is aired every Friday from 9.00 pm.
“I covered the elections, danced with the biggest names in the entertainment scene in Kenya, and interviewed over 100 celebrities & artists on the show & what a time we had! We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grown together on @kbc_television,” she narrated.
“This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited about. As I say goodbye to KBC, join me tonight at 9 PM, one last time on Easy Friday! Grateful for every moment and every memory on.”
