Traffic jam forces Kidero to walk to Westlands

Walking is a big deal for Nairobi Governor. Today he was caugt up in traffic jam and had to walk. Here is what he had to say.

“Today I got stuck in traffic and had to walk to my meeting at the Kempinski hotel in Westlands from the CBD to officially launch the 18th (AFWA) International Water Congress and exhibition, scheduled to take place at the KICC from February 22nd -26th 2016.

I will ensure that the new raft of traffic measures launched last week by CS Transport and Infrastructure Eng. Michael Kamau and myself take effect immediately to reduce traffic and congestion in Nairobi.

I think I lost a couple of kilos today!

Well, for many Nairobians, traffic jam or walking to meetings is business as usual.
