Section of Gikomba market burns down

Property of unknown value has been destroyed after fire razed down stalls at Nairobi’s Gikomba market early this morning. Kenya Red Cross officials say the fire started at around 4.45AM but the cause has not been established. The Nairobi City County has dispatched two fire engines to help contain the fire.
