Police in Kwale and their counterparts in Maseno have launched investigations on Maseno national school following allegations by a form one student that his seniors sodomised him.

The parents have already withdrawn the student from the school due to trauma. The 15-year-old says he could not identify the three senior students who assaulted him in the dormitory on May 28, 2015, because it was dark.

“I could not see their faces but they must have been either form 3 or form 4 students, they are the ones who put on long sleeved shirts… It was not a dream,” he told a KTN reporter.

He said that the teachers only transferred him to another dormitory when he reported the issue. His parents withdrew him from the national boys-only school due to trauma and have reported the matter to police.
