Mwala and Yatta MPs ditch Kalonzo for Jubilee

Two MPs from Machakos county have vowed to rally behind the Jubilee government for the sake of their people.

Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka and his Yatta counterpart Francis Mwangangi told those castigating them for the move that no amount of threats would deter them.

“We have realised working with the national and county government is the only way of realising our regions’ development. The Opposition has nothing to offer except rhetoric,” said Mr Musyoka.

The two said this at joint rallies in Muthetheni and Katangi markets, where they also resolved to work with the local administration and security personnel towards stemming insecurity.
