Johnnie Walker, the world’s leading Scotch whisky, has launched the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Limited Edition design for to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse. This special release brings together two global icons of craft and creativity: Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Hong Kong-born, London-based couture designer Robert Wun.

Known for his sculptural silhouettes and emotionally charged couture, Wun reimagines the Horse as a symbol of optimism, independence, and fearless momentum through a bold, modern visual interpretation that mirrors Johnnie Walker’s own Keep Walking philosophy. The Horse, celebrated in Chinese zodiac culture for its energy, tenacity, and free spirit, aligns naturally with the brand’s ethos of forward progress.

Wun channels these qualities into a design that captures motion and power, transforming traditional symbolism into a contemporary story of drive and individuality. This collaboration goes beyond the bottle following the beautifully crafted documentary-style content series that follows Wun’s creative journey, from ideation to couture creation, exploring what it means to be born in the Year of the Horse and how that spirit translates into both clothing and design.

The series will be showcased across Johnnie Walker’s digital platforms, allowing audiences to experience the story behind the limited-edition design. Speaking on the partnership, Robert Wun said “Johnnie Walker Blue Label embodies heritage, scarcity, and the finest craftsmanship. Translating the optimism and tenacity of the Horse into couture has been an incredible experience. Couture and whisky both demand time, attention to detail, and deep respect for craft, and this collaboration celebrates that shared philosophy.”

The Year of the Horse Johnnie Walker Blue Label Limited Edition continues Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s long-standing dedication to collectible releases aligned to cultural milestones and global celebrations. With a history of exclusive editions created alongside globally acclaimed artists and designers, the brand has built a strong tradition of collectible releases that merge cultural storytelling, artistic expression, and exceptional whisky-making. This 2026 limited edition will be available in strictly limited quantities in Kenya, at select premium retailers. Once sold out, no further bottles of this design will be produced.
