Even before Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge hits the Kenyan market, suppliers have already started receiving pre-orders of the gadget which is going to give competitors a run for their money.
The company launched its pre-order launch last week and the feedback has been overwhelming. “We have begun receiving inquiries for the Galaxy S6. The appetite for product is high because of its all new design, fast camera, in built wireless charging and the fastest processor in the market. The devices are beautifully designed, and are more powerful than any previous Galaxy device in terms of usability and functionality,” said Samsung’s VP & COO for East Africa Mr Robert Ngeru.
Since the launch of the pre-order, the phone has received over 20 million pre-orders globally. Locally Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pre-order customers will receive an exclusive offer of free wireless charger and free cover. The S6 Edge received more than 20 prestigious awards on-site at MWC 2015, including Ubergizmo’s “Best of Mobile World Congress,” Mashable’s “Top Pick” and Laptop Magazine’s “Top Pick.”
Samsung’s mobile security platform KNOX also received the prestigious honour of “Best Security/Anti-fraud Product of Solution” from the GSMA. The smartphones’ software and mobile security capabilities were recognized as the best solution launched during this year’s show in the enterprise mobile security division.
KNOX has received rigorous government accreditations worldwide, including the United States Department of Defence. Both gadgets come with the KNOX solution.
