Top comedian Daniel Ndambuki has launched online shop in partnership with Kilimall, the leading online shopping. This is the first branded shop Churchill is launching in Kenya. Through the online shop, Churchill will market and sell his own branded products for Kilimall.

Kilimall is running online adverts for the Churchil shop, which was launched on Friday last week. The products will be branded with Churchill’s image and other symbols and will range from T-shirts, flash disks, and other electronic gadgets to house hold items such as duvets and sheets.  Under the partnership will have joint branding with Kilimall and campaign for a variety of products.

This is a major coup by Kilimall and bold move by Churchill, who will use the shop to also reward his fans on radio and TV.  On radio, he is a co-host for Classic 105 breakfast show with Maina Kageni, while his Churchill Show screens on NTV. The shop will also be a major boost to Kenyan artists who will be contracted to brand the products locally.

When contacted, Kilimall Kenya Marketing Manager Larry Liu said Churchill will be selling branded products. “Churchill is very popular with both young and old people who form the market we are targeting with our various products,” said Mr Liu. “We are positive that this will be a major hit in Kenya, being his first branded  shop.”

Kilimall retails a wide range of products, including smart phones and accessories, electronic products such as computers, tablets and TVs as well as baby stuff, beauty and fashion products, among others. Kilimall operates a business model that allows more discounts to shoppers. Through Churchill more Kenyans will now have access to these highly discounted products.

Kilimall started operations in Kenya two years ago and has grown into the leading online shopping mall in Kenya with over 100 products on offer.
