Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) has unveiled a television channel, Hope TV, as the church seeks to widen its reach across the country.
Speaking during the launch, Information,Communication and Technology Cabinet Secretary (CS) Joe Mucheru said that the launch was an indication of the ever increasing demand of the integration of digital technology within church ministries.
“Hope TV is meant to transform the access to content by providing up-to-date information, inspiration, influence and education as they seek to reach across the country,” said the CS
The CS said that the government would continue to support the media space in Kenya as well as monitoring the distribution of content by media outlets. Bishop of CITAM, Rev. David Oginde said that Hope TV programming was designed to inspire, educate and challenge its audience especially the children and the youth with Gospel content.
“Hope TV will provide its viewers inspirational movies, life changing sermons, praise and worship music, and dynamic programming content for the whole family,” said Oginde.
Oginde added that the TV platform would be used in the development of evangelism within the society adding that CITAM had also launched the Hope Media app to avail radio and television content through the mobile technology.
