After claiming his fourth London marathon title, Eliud Kipchoge still has a few days to spend in the English capital. He has hence asked for ideas of where to visit while he waits for the day to jet back to Kenya.
“I’ve got a couple of days left in London, where should I visit?” the defending Olympic Champion tweeted. You would not be amazed by what Kenyans on twitter suggested as there is no boundary on what to expect from them.
The vibrant Kenyans on twitter who visit social media to provide utter entertainment were not left behind. Leading this group are Arsenal fans in Kenya who seemed to have been frustrated about the team’s recent performance.
“Go to the Emirates and ship out Mustafi,” Omari Junior replied.
“Please go and slap Unai Emery for us,” Walker Rico replied.
“Hahaha Arsenal. Please show Unai Emery. what it takes to be a champion,” Mark Muriithi Mwenje.

One Chelsea fan in Kenya, Lucky Luke Bandika, told Kipchoge to go punish coach Maurizio Sarri on his behalf. “Stamford Bridge and hit that mathigara coach,” he tweeted to Kipchoge.

The most dominant answer, however, was River Gulu. It seems like most Kenyans want Kipchoge to visit the River at the heart of the Queen’s Land. For those wondering what River Gulu is, it is the famous River Thames.

A Ugandan explorer claimed to have discovered the River last week and gave it a ‘proper name’ which is River Gulu.

Among the those who replied to Kipchoge’s tweet is BBC who wanted to host the athlete at their offices in London.
“If you’ve got some time… we would be delighted to host you! The BBC canteen doesn’t serve ugali, but we’re sure we can sort you out something special!” they joked. Some Kenyans actually thought the tweet was written by BBC Africa journalist Larry Madowo. Larry replied saying he was not the one behind the keyboard.
