Mr Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of Bench Events said the launch of MR&H has achieved a great success, in particular among the community of investors who have a growing appetite for interesting opportunities in terms of hotels assets in the Mediterranean region.

According to latest figures from Irea, a consultancy firm specialised in real estate and hotels, Spanish hotel investment jumped 54% compared to 2014, during the nine months to September 2015, 77 transactions were closed involving 15,800 rooms in Spain.

Worsley added: “Spain is a good example of the opportunities offered by the real estate investment in hotels in the Mediterranean”. Irea expects that 2015 will exceed the previous record (€1.8 billion in 2006) and that the level of investment will be maintained in 2016.

MR&H will bring travel and tourism real estate developments to the table, to help showcase the master-plans and find investment. To this end, it is worth noting that the MR&H programme is attracting global senior management from the hotel investment industry.
