The Kakamega Senator linked the governor to the Mumias Sugar Company scam during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s visit to Bungoma County. The governor claims Dr Khalwale remarks were “slanderous” and is aggrieved that the financial problems that bedeviled the company have been associated with his name.
