Westgate Shopping Mall anchor tenant at Nakumatt Holdings has announced plans to resume operations at the shopping complex by the end of next week.
The official opening of Nakumatt Westgate, scheduled for July 18th, follows the recent hosting of an inter-faith prayer service by the Westgate Shopping Mall developers ahead of the mall’s formal opening.
Nakumatt Holdings Managing Director Atul Shah said plans are in high gear to reopen the doors to the iconic retail store and shopping mall. This will coincide with the Westgate Shopping Mall’s official reopening, with other key tenants such as ArtCaffé, Ashleys Beauty Centre, among others, also set to resume operations.

“At Nakumatt Holdings, we are preparing for the opening and looking forward to welcome our loyal customers to come enjoy a new in store layout, wide stock variety and fresh ambience,” Shah said.
Due to some internal adjustments on the main building, Nakumatt Westgate will cover more than 80,000square feet on multiple floors. Westgate Mall Managing Director Alex Trachtenberg confirmed that tenants who have taken up space at the mall will soon be moving in.
