KLM Airline has received the 2024 APEX World Cla*s Aw*rd for the third time in a row for outstanding performance in offering customer safety, and well-being and championing sustainability.
The prestigious aw*rd is presented annually by the International Airline Pa*senger Experience A*sociation (APEX), which evaluates pa*senger perceptions.
Winners are chosen on the basis of world*ide audits and consumer reviews and are required to be aw*rded five-star reviews at the very least.
In addition to winning the World Cla*s Aw*rd, KLM was also recognised as Best-in-Cla*s for Sustainability.
Commenting on receiving the aw*rd, Air France KLM General Manager for East and Southern Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana Marius van der Ham said the World Cla*s Aw*rd reflects service, guest experiences, safety and sustainability performance.
“We’re incredibly proud to have won the APEX World Cla*s Aw*rd for the third year in a row. We prioritise carrying our pa*sengers safely and in comfort, while also focusing on making flying cleaner, quieter and more fuel-efficient,” said Marius.
“To this end, we invest heavily in vigorous fleet renewal and purchasing sustainable fuel. The aw*rd serves as a fitting recognition for everyone at KLM who makes every effort, every day to serve our custom**s.”
APEX is the biggest international airline a*sociation when it comes to pa*senger perceptions and has develop*d into a renowned research and rating organisation.
This year’s World Cla*s Aw*rd was dished out to eight airlines. Alongside KLM, this included Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Q*tar Airways, J*pan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and Saudia.
