Mr Bernard Chiriswa, 34, an accountant with an NGO based in Nairobi, is the 12th and final winner of one million shillings with GOtv’s Dunga Milli competition.

GOtv’s Dunga Milli competition ended today. According to the GOtv Kenya General Manager Felix Kyengo, this leaves investments groups to battle it out in the on-going decoder selling competition. “Chamas not only have a great chance to Dunga Milli but also are making good money in the decoder selling business. We are selling the decoders to the groups at wholesale prices which give profit margins of up to 60 percent after sale,” said Mr Kyengo.

He asked more chamas to take advantage of the ‘Dunga Milli’ deal to raise funds for their own initiatives. “Research has shown that GOtv is Kenyans’ most favourite digital migration option hence the chamas are guaranteed of a market. We have the best and widest variety programming on offer at the most affordable rate in the market.”

Mr Chiriswa, who bought the decoder for his parents back in the village, said that he is fan of GOtv’s Maisha Magic East channel. “GOtv is the best option for me due to its affordability and clear signal.”

Gotv decoders retail at only Ksh. 1, 399, including two months GOtv Plus subscription.
