Microsoft has launched an online and retail consumer campaign dubbed #MakeItHappenEA that aims to empower customers to share their life-long desires. Those selected will get once in a lifetime chance to turn them to reality.
Speaking during the launch, Microsoft Mobile Devices East Africa General Manager, Mariam Abdullahi said the campaign aims at giving Lumia users a chance to fulfil a craving that they have had but not yet fulfilled due to financial and other bottlenecks.
“We all have unfulfilled desires that we’ve always wanted to do but we never seem to be able to make it happen. Microsoft is now offering a chance to our customers to gratify this wish through our cool range of Lumia devices,” noted Abdullahi.
Three winners will see their dreams turned into reality while the overall lucky user will get an all-expenses paid trip with three friends to attend a concert in South Africa.
To participate, users are required to buy any Lumia device between February 1 and March 31 this year, SMS the word ‘DREAM’ to 20096, then an SMS with a link to #MakeItHappenEA microsite will be sent to the user to enter personal contact details and the dream.
Entries will be verified through IMEI details, all winners will be announced on the official Microsoft Lumia social media pages and will be contacted by the Microsoft team directly.
