Online survey gives Britam high grades

ZURICH – Britam has been awarded the QUDAL Quality Medal, an international recognition for products and companies that offer consumers the greatest level of quality. The first QUDAL QUality meDAL research in Kenya by Swiss organization ICERTIAS (International Certification Association) shows that Kenyans rate Britam as the best insurance company in the country in the provision of quality service.

The organisation measures customer experience and satisfaction with quality of marketed products and services. The QUDAL Quality Medal accolade is only awarded to products and services which offer the best quality, according to scientific market research and opinion of consumers. Within the insurance category, the highest number of respondents rated Britam as the best company in the provision of quality services.

The entire QUDAL Research in Kenya encompassed more than 100 commercial and non-commercial categories. “Britam is a company that is customer centric, innovation driven, and focused,” said Britam Group Managing Director Dr Benson Wairegi. He said all its products and services are customised.

The QUDAL research does not measure market shares or the power of a brand, but only experience, satisfaction with the quality of the service and the offer on the market. The research was done in June 2014 using an online survey and the CAWI – DEEPMA method (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing – Deep Mind Awareness.  Some  1,200 Kenyans participated in the research.
