Former Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi leads a group of senior politicians and prominent businessmen who are yet to fulfill the cash pledges made during the AFC Leopards SC fundraiser last week.

The club collected Kh5 million during the fundraiser held at the Panafric Hote in Nairobi against a target of Ksh10 million. President Uhuru Kenyatta sent a personal contribution of Ksh1 million.

About Ksh3 million of this amount was realised in cash at the fundraiser, with the rest expected to come in the form of cheques and cash pledges. However, a week down the line, those who pledged seem to have not fulfilled the pledges, Nairobi News reports.
