KK security has set up a Rapid Response Team unit in Kajiado as it seeks to grow its market share. Investment in the response unit in Rongai town has brought services closer to clients in the area.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer James Omwando said setting up of the unit in the expansive county was a strategic move to tap into emerging business opportunities that are being created by corporates across banking, insurance and retail which are setting up shop in Kajiado County.

“We have increased the number of vehicles in our fleet covering our core services such as cash management, Dog Section, Fire and the Rapid Mobile Response countrywide to enhance service delivery to our clients,” Omwando added.

Operationally, alarm signals from clients systems are received at the KK’s National Command and Control Centre who immediately dispatch the response teams to attend to any emergencies. The modern Centre is fully equipped to handle activations countrywide.

“KK Security has built unrivaled service standard within the industry, enabling it to achieve an average response time of 7 minutes,” the CEO added. He said a fleet of security response vehicles are located in all strategic areas to improve efficiency in response time. The vehicles are equipped to meet the Kenya Security Industry Association (KSIA) standards with highly trained personnel to deal with medical, fire and security emergencies.

The regional firm with a footprint in seven African countries including Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, DR Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi has also invested in training of dog handling capacity as it plans to expand its canine centre to tap into the growing market for security dog services. The firm provides security solutions to various sectors including commercial, residential, diplomatic agricultural and construction sites.
