Over the years, online shopping has been engrained in Kenyans mind-sets. What shoppers have lacked is proper knowledge and training that equips them with requisite skills to enable them make right choices. Kilimall, an online shopping firm in Kenya has identified this niche and is stepping up the campaign by training merchants on tools of conducting e-commerce and marketing their products online.
Speaking at a training seminar, Kilimall Marketing Director Kariuki Maina noted that if Kenyan merchants are equipped with the right knowledge on e-commerce, Kenya could become the African leading economy country, tapping on the internet connectivity in the country. “We have all the necessary resources and skills to equip our merchants towards revolutionizing e-commerce in Kenya,” Kariuki noted.
“The place of e-commerce in Kenya is promising. Merchants who have taken opportunity to invest with Kilimall as their ideal internet platform have nothing to worry. Soon than later every Kenyan will be joining Kilimall Platform to bolster small and large businesses,” he added.
According to Kilimall’s IT and Platform Director Collins Okach, the company will be launching other services to broaden the way of operation for the merchants’ success. Among those in the offing are KiliExpress and KiliPay to enable customers pay online for the goods and services provided.
