Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) Managing Director Lucy Mbugua (pictured above) and two other senior managers who have been on interdiction have been fired following ongoing investigations into the Passenger Transfer Services tender (Apron Bus Services) at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Standard reports that also sent packing is Finance General Manager John Thumbi and Acting Airport Engineer Christopher Warutere. Interdictions for Procurement Manager Lilian Okidi and Head of Examination Martin Kamau were lifted and both were recalled.

However, Legal Counsel Victor Arika’s interdiction was upheld pending further investigations. KAA Board Chairman David Kimaiyo said the board took action after a meeting on Friday.
