Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo is one of Kenya’s wealthiest politicians. Kabogo has over the years invested heavily in commercial and residential real estate properties, and is one of the top property owners in Kiambu county.
Besides real estate, Kabogo has previously disclosed that he made his fortune from businesses including importing cars and selling them, and supplying goods to the now collapsed Nakumatt Supermarkets.
“I used to supply Nakumatt with goods but I was not a shareholder. It is good for people to think I am fabulously wealthy. If you go to Kiambu, people look at a building and say this one is Kabogo’s,” he once observed.
Among Kabogo’s biggest known real estate investments is the Iguta Paradise residential development located along Kiambu Road in Runda, one of Nairobi’s upmarket suburbs.
Iguta Paradise is made up of 60 units of modern, stylish 4 bedroom villas. Each villa en-suite bedrooms, master bedroom with a walk-in closet, home office and private gym among other features.

According to listings, each villa goes for around Ksh40 million – Ksh42 million, placing the value of the project north of Ksh2 billion.
“It’s been a long journey but we’re getting there. God is great,” Kabogo shared as the project neared completion in 2021.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is among VIPs who have previously been spotted at the location, in the company of his son and the former Governor.
