Jaguar lands lucrative deal with KCB Group

Kipepeo hit singer Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar has landed a remunerative deal with KCB Group where he has been appointed the brand ambassador for Pepea Card, a cashless mode of payment from the bank that was launched  this morning.

The musician, known for his philanthropic work, performed his Kipepeo song which has been redone and it will be used in the nationwide rollout of the card. He took the crowds by storm at Kencom Bus Stop where he performed the song and was joined by Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Eng Michael Kamau, Principal Secretary Nduva Muli and Mary Mwangi who runs Double M fleet of buses operating in different routes in Nairobi.

Jaguar’s music career has been gathering steam in the last two years after releasing songs that touch on the lives of the commoner. His Kigeugeu Song was a major hit receiving airwaves in Kenya and other East African nations. He followed it with Matapeli (conmen) that focuses on fraudsters in the name of philanthropists. Earlier this year, he released Kioo (Mirror) which talks about his life in general.

Last week, he released the video to the remix of One Centimetre featuring Nigeria’s Iyanya. The Pepea Card launch event was emceed by Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki.
