Heritage Insurance company emerged among the top performance  in medical underwriting category at the 2015 Think Business Awards . The insurer has dominated the industry in the medical underwriting category for over three decades and continues to make significant contribution in that segment of insurance with the most recent innovation being the Heritage Flexi.

Speaking during the 2015 Think Business Industry Awards Heritage Insurance Managing Director Godfrey Kioi the company is also focusing on widening its customer base to include retail space. The industry is currently witnessing an increased rate of innovation.

“The new Heritage Flexi product allows for a unique partnership between the insurer and the client.  Heritage offers a  partnership  with the customers ideally those who are employers to tailor make health solutions that support their respective business models and provides affordable and quality health care cover for their employees,” said Mr Kioi.

The flexibility offered by the Heritage Flexi product suite ensures that employers are able to provide quality and affordable health insurance to their employees. Think Business Limited CEO Ochieng Oloo said there is need to reduce price undercutting and mitigate the huge underwriting losses that are plaguing certain classes of business.
