Airtel has announced the opening of six new customer care outlets. The company is planning to open branches in all counties to help address customer needs from a localised position. From these outlets, customers will be able to purchase Airtel products and deposit as well as withdraw money from their Airtel Money accounts.
By the end of this year, the company wants to increase its customer care offices tally with 23 new outlets. “Opening new outlets and modernizing the existing ones demonstrates Airtel’s continued commitment to deliver the best in class customer experience and service for its consumers in the convenience of their local towns. Our customers will be able to access a bouquet of innovative high quality products and services besides friendly in a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere,” said Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi.
In the last few weeks, Airtel has given Safaricom cut-throat competition in the data usage platform, with the launch of Unliminet, an internet service that allows subscribers to keep browsing even after running short of data bundles. In retaliation, Safaricom announced a slash on its internet bundles a few days later.
