MEET MY WIFE, MR PRESIDENT: ODM nominated MP Isaac Mwaura married his fiancée of five months Nelius Rwamba at the Green Gardens grounds off Kiambu road in Nairobi. As a special treat, Mwaura and his wife were hosted at State House by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Mwaura was accompanied by his friend John Kiarie, a former Dagoretti Parliamentary aspirant on an ODM ticket.
In February, Mwaura posted photos of himself proposing to his girlfriend on his Facebook account which went viral.
