Full list of parastatal appointments: Uhuru blends old and young

President Kenyatta has madee radical changes in the management of state-owned corporations. A part fom bringing in private sector players, he has also recycled a number of politicians who were voted out in the last election.

 He says the changes follow comprehensive appraisal of all State Corporations in terms of capacity, staffing and management practices. The processes, which took nearly 18 months, are now complete. He added that the appointments reflect the Face of Kenya, with all 47 Counties represented in honour of the diversity of all people and communities of Kenya. They also comply with the constitutional imperatives on the appointment of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities. 

“In making the appointments, the Administration has tapped into the wisdom, experience and knowledge of our senior citizens, while embracing the energy, enthusiasm and innovation of our young people,” he said.
