Local and international media houses today sent their best reporters, camera men and women for a media briefing by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi, on the July 24-16 tour by US President Barack Obama during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. This was the scene of eyes, lenses and note books all focused on one person.

Close to 200 American journalists will accompany US President Barack Obama on his visit to Kenya this Friday. One group will be on the trail of the president while the other will be with the First Lady Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha. Officials said apart from the American journalists, there will be others from Africa and other continents. Only those accredited will be allowed to access delegates.

With all these journalists, we don’t expect to miss anything about this trip. Not even the kind of shoes and belt the US President will be wearing.
