Existing Kenyan betting companies have been offering outrageous goodies to lure customers and dominate the industry, recently disrupted by the exit of SportPesa and Betin.

Tipped by netizens as one of the top betting firms remaining in the country, Odibets has now been crowned the fastest betting site by GTMetrix for the second year running.

The announcement comes as no surprise to the company as it has been giving its clients lucrative offers. Gamblers joining the site for the first time are treated to a Ksh30 free bet. The free bet is part of Odibets’ Fair Pay Bonus System where customers can withdraw their winnings without depositing a cent on the website.

However, it is not all goodies with the free bets as it cannot be withdrawn. The betting site restricts withdrawals less than the amount of the free bet. The gambler can only withdraw the amount he wins from the free bet. Unlucky punters will have to deposit from their personal accounts to continue betting on the site.

Apart from the free bet upon registration, the betting site offers a free bet every Monday for eligible customers. Punters are required to have placed 5 bets anytime within the week worth Sh 50 bob before they are eligible for the Monday free bet.

Punters have been complaining about the 20% withholding tax put in place by the government to restrict the gambling vice in the country.

In this regard, Odibets has come up with a 10% win boost to let its customers gain more in a win than they would have with the 20% withholding tax.

Odibets is not the only country that has come up with crazy techniques to lure in customers who might have given up on betting after the government crackdown. Other betting firms are offering to sponsor Kenyan football clubs, for instance, Betika’s sponsorship of Sofapaka.

Betika, meanwhile, has also created a Fantasy Premier League group where they reward the top-ranked fans every month.

The betting industry is in a period of recession after the exit of SportPesa and Betin who were the big players. The remaining betting firms are in a race to take up customers who were using these betting sites.
