Radio 47, set to launch on Monday, 13 March, 2023, is set to rival big names in the media industry. The radio station is a sister company to TV 47 owned by Cape Media Company. The proprietor is understood to have acquired radio frequencies from a private investor who disposed of them after the elections.
The management, led by Mount Kenya University (MKU) chairman and founder, Prof Simon Gicharu, is putting final touches to launch plans including the programme line-up.
Here’s the programme line-up for the new station:-

“A combination of a charmingly fun and authoritative alpha male with antiquated ideas with a sassy, unconventional fenale with a devil may care attitude is definitely a recipe for a very interesting breakfast menu.
