Kenyan car dealer and social media personality Khalif Kairo drew attention online this week after sharing a Bible verse about enduring hardship, following unverified reports that his luxury Porsche Cayenne had been seized.
In a post on his social media pages, Kairo cited a passage from the New Testament: “The present sufferings cannot compare to the glory that will be revealed.” The verse, from the book of Romans, is commonly associated with perseverance through difficult circumstances.
The message appeared shortly after online rumors circulated suggesting the repossession or seizure of his vehicle. The claims, largely shared on social media platforms and entertainment blogs, have not been confirmed by authorities or Kairo himself.
Background
Kairo, born Joseph Kairo Wambui, runs a car import and dealership business under Kai & Karo Limited, marketing high-end vehicles to Kenyan buyers. The entrepreneur has previously faced legal disputes over vehicle importation deals, with some clients alleging non-delivery of paid vehicles. Kairo has consistently denied wrongdoing.

Two fraud cases against him were withdrawn in September 2025 after complainants confirmed receiving refunds totaling approximately Sh5.9 million in out-of-court settlements.
Online Reaction
Screenshots of Kairo’s post have circulated widely online, sparking debate among followers. Some interpreted the verse as a response to the Porsche rumors, while others saw it as a general message of faith amid challenging times.
As of this report, Kairo has not publicly provided further comment on the status of his vehicle, and the biblical passage remains his only statement addressing the speculation.
