CFAO Motors Kenya has unveiled two-time African Athletics Champion, Ferdinand Omanyala as its Brand Ambassador. His local and global achievements will be instrumental in showcasing Kenya’s talent and support for young people to fully harness their potential.
CFAO Motors Kenya revealed this when it announced a sponsorship of Ksh30 million towards the planning of the four-day 2024 WRC Safari Rally in Naivasha during the Easter weekend.

This marks the fourth consecutive time that CFAO Motors Kenya is participating in the global motorsport showpiece, which has seen its Toyota Gazoo Racing Team record major wins.
Speaking during the cheque handover ceremony, CFAO Motors Kenya Managing Director, Arvinder Reel said they are delighted to be part of the exciting global motorsports event. The WRC event will be used to further entrench Toyota’s value proposition underpinned by the brand’s values of Quality, Durability and Reliability.
“This year’s WRC Safari Rally offers us an opportunity to consider how to create a better world, a stronger sports system, and a path towards equity and sustainability. By entrenching SDGs, we are part of a global initiative that considers how social inclusion, poverty, the environment, education, and other key areas are connected and influence the lives of current and future sports participants,” Mr Arvinder said.
CFAO Motors Kenya will be showcasing its Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) Hilux pickup and the GR Hilux as the official route openers. Throughout the rally, there will be a display of the RAV 4 Hybrid and the Corolla Cross Hybrid.
As part of its role as a responsible corporate citizen, CFAO Motors Kenya in collaboration with the Toyota Gazoo Racing Team will be launching a nationwide road safety campaign for school-going children. The exercise will involve the distribution of 10,000 glowing wristbands to primary schools to create awareness of road safety in communities.
This year’s WRC Safari Rally has attracted over 50 foreign and local drivers including the defending the winning Toyota Gazoo racing team composed of, Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta.
