Endeavors Insurance Agency wins top award

Endeavors Insurance Agency was the winner during this year’s Resolution Insurance Awards, which was held at a Nairobi hotel on Friday.

The company, which was represented by Enzo Wu, took home a Nissan Xtrail, in addition to fully paid trips to Mombasa and Dubai for their unmatchable sales in general insurance in the year 2017.

Dynamite Insurance Agencies emerged first runners-up for achieving exceptional performance towards Resolution Insurance sales revenue as Halima Kauchi Mwatela clinched the second runners up slot in the same category.

In the medical category, Priormed Insurance Consultants carried the day as the most improved contributor to Resolution Insurance medical sales in 2017.

During the ceremony, which was attended by top insurance brokers and agents from the Nairobi region, Resolution Insurance Managing Director Alice Mwai expressed her gratitude for their hard work. 

“At Resolution, we believe it’s our responsibility to ensure that we provide protective insurance solutions across the board that cater to the needs of the different target groups that our products cater to. You, our trusted agents and brokers, have been helping us achieve this through continued sales of our various products and it is because of this that we award you for the marvelous work that you have done.” she said.

She encouraged all agents and broker to put their best foot forward this year in order to achieve more sales, while emphasising that the awards improve the standing and credibility of winners in the industry and also open doors for new business opportunities for the agents.

During the event, the insurer noted a growth in general business with more than 100% increase of sales in Motor Insurance leading at 571% and commanding 67% of the non-medical book for 2017.

The company succeeded in achieving an Expected loss ratio (ELR) of 35% against the 49% target and with the  implementation of the new agent portal mid this year, agents and brokers will have easier access to services enabling them to process and follow up claims from any given location 24/7 within a period of 4 days to further enhance client satisfaction.
