Business magnate Chris Kirubi has almost everything going for him -moneywise – but he says he does not like the coldness that is currently gripping Nairobi.
Speaking on Capital FM’s The Fuse984, Kirubi said he likes warm weather but hastened to add the station, which he owns, serves the purpose all the same.
“Nairobi is cold. I am OK but I don’t like cold weather. It is better to have bright sunshine, right? But you know, Capital FM makes me warm up,” said Kirubi aka DJ CK when challenged by the show’s hosts Miano Muchiri and Anne Mwaura to say something to listeners.

The business mogul, who is battling acute cancer of the colon, is slowly returning to normal life after coming back to the country in March last year after travelling to the United States in November 2017 for specialised treatment.
Capital FM has recently been in the news following departure of several veteran editors and presenters amid reports it is going through lean times.
The firm is said to have implemented a pay cut to stay afloat. There are reports that a senior manager fleeced the company by registering a private firm that he used to rake in ad revenue. He has since left Capital Group.
At the same time, the media house is alleged to be losing money in the Koroga Festival deal, a bi-monthly music event it hosts, which is set to enter its 25 edition.
