After quitting the salon and spa business venture, Posh Palace Hair Studio & Spa, which she had co-founded with her then best friend, Susan Kaittany, KTN News anchor Betty Kyallo is back in business.
Kyallo has been sending hints on social media that something big was on the way. It has now emerged that she has started a new salon, Flair By Betty, which will be located at the iconic FCB Mihrab, on Lenana Road, Nairobi.
“Gorgeous Hair, Beautiful Nails and Fresh Barber Cuts… It’s all about our clients. Look good, Feel The Flair Of Life! Open Saturday at FCB Mihrab, Lenana Road, Mezzanine Floor. You are welcome.,” she eventually tweeted after severally posting photos of the building.
In a previous interview, she had revealed that she was eyeing big things this year, including taking her brand to the next level.
“2018 is already looking up. In am very excited for this year. Positive energy, looking at growing my brand from where it is taking it to the next level. God has blessed me so much to the point that I’m able to have some little influence here and there with great support from my fans. I’m looking foward to working with big brands, make money and see what this world has for Betty Kyalo,” she told a local entertainment news site.
She has enhanced her stature among the few other journalists and other media personalities who are using their personal brands to venture into business while in active employment as well.

Others are engaged in the business of endorsing brands for pay. They include Kyallo herself, Jeff Koinange, Adelle Onyango, Maina Kageni and Jalang’o.
