Celebrated journalist and entrepreneur Betty Kyallo is set to end her four-year absence on the screens by joining Cape Media’s TV47.

Kyallo is joining what is being unveiled as the ‘Dream Team’ alongside Stephen Maunda colloquially known as Shatta Bway, who recently left Royal Media Services’ Radio Citizen.

“After close to 4 years, I’m back. TV47 is now my home. I can’t wait to see you my lovely audience. This is my favourite stage! Yaaaay! See you soon. Grateful to God,” Betty Kyallo wrote.

Business Today understands that Shatta Bway will serve as the Director of Projects and Strategy at Cape Media.

“And now, TV47 is presenting a fresh new look and a line-up of new and enhanced programming set to elevate our audiences’ viewing experience,” Cape Media says.

Betty Kyallo will host a show dubbed ‘This Friday’,  which the management describes as “an exciting addition that promises to be a delightful blend of news and lifestyle, tailored to engage and entertain audiences of all ages”.

“This Friday” will highlight the latest headlines to the intriguing “word master” segment, where language enthusiasts can test their vocabulary prowess.

“Hosted by the vibrant and sassy Betty Kyalo, “This Friday” is set to become Kenya’s must-watch show, offering a perfect blend of information and entertainment for audiences seeking an enriching Friday evening experience,” Cape Media says.

The show will be aired every Friday at 9 pm.

On the other hand, Shatta Bway will host “TV47 Irie Vibes,” every Saturday at 10 pm. The show entails reggae music.
