Anker Innovations has rolled out its robotic vacuum cleaner in the Kenyan market. The firm’s regional sales head, GCC & Africa, Faraz Mehdi, says the new gadget with a market price of Ksh30,000 is aimed at eliminating cumbersome vacuuming duties as it takes on dust-busting in homes.

Mr Mehdi said its multiple cleaning modes and auto-clean scheduling ensure thorough cleaning with less effort.

Robotic Vacuum is quite conveniently controlled, as you can give it instructions by voice or through your phone via the EufyHome app, Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant to operate efficiently while sharing reminders on how the device is performing”, he explained.

The device can vacuum and mop. It contains a unibody filter for less maintenance and more relaxing. “It is like a pet that is more intelligent, with smart dynamic navigation, Wi-Fi and voice control while twice as faster compared to other devices in the market,” he said.

Its three-point cleaning system consists of a suction inlet, and side-brush which delivers cleaning and its advanced brushless motor significantly reduces vacuuming noise.

Its thin design effortlessly glides under furniture and into hard-to-reach areas. It has an auto-recharge feature which enables it to sense when the battery level is too low to continue cleaning, to automatically return to the charging base and once charged up to 80 percent it will resume cleaning from the area it had stopped.
